Whirlpool Corporation’s Amana Division is nestled in the picturesque valley of the Iowa River in the heart of the Amana Colonies- 21 miles Southwest of Cedar Rapids and 20 miles Northwest of Iowa City. The two-million square foot facility is located in the heart of the Amana Colonies, a historic area popular with toursits. Amana continues to operate in the same location where it started production over 75 years ago as a former woolen mill.
Whirlpool Corporation’s Amana Division is the only manufacturer of the freestanding bottom mount refrigerators in the United States. In 2010, plans were announced for a $20 million dollar investment in its facility in Amana. In addition to this announcement, Whirlpool also added a new product line of 50 pound ice makers.
Whirlpool’s online application process shouldn’t take more than 5 to 15 minutes to complete. If you have a current resume, you can simply upload it to their system with the click of a button.
