We have five major malls, with hundreds of stores. Shoppers also enjoy perusing a factory outlet mall, and downtown Iowa City is a thriving area with a fascinating variety of boutiques for sophisticated shoppers.

You’ll find a wide variety of cuisine from casual to elegant, including an international array of selections to satisfy every taste – Italian, Greek, Czech, Thai, Mexican, German, Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern. Or dine at restaurants in the Amana Colonies. They are world famous for their plentiful traditional dishes, served family style.
